Just Cavalli Opens New Flagship Store in Paris

Now ladies and gentlemen, there is another reason for you to shop down to your heart content in Paris.

Let's forget the tourists' staples (I don't think it's necessary for me to drop some names because everyone knows them very well) while shopping in the City of Lights because godfather of sexiness and sensuality Roberto Cavalli has recently opened his first Just Cavalli flagship store at Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore in the heart of Paris.

Designed via artistic collaboration between famous Italian architect Italo Rota and the designer himself, the store boasts six retail floors with a total floor space of 600 square meters.

Each floors embodies and expresses single universes that are linked through the world of Just Cavalli and two main entrances that look like two transparent paintings overlooking the road. Embracing the spirit of space age and futurism, the flagship store interior reminds you of boarding a futuristic space craft that will transport you to zero gravity. Yes, believe it or not, here clothes are displayed floating on non-existing suspensions, as if they are buoying on zero-gravity surface.

The usage of reflective metals on the wall helps to expand the space while the ceilings are designed to mimic the galaxy skies with pulsating light optic fibers.

Making space age seems real to its customers is the pay desk that is inspired by the idea of a pilot's cabin in a futuristic airplane, complete with irregular shape and crafted from mirrored materials.

While menswear and accessories took the entire lower ground floor, women's accessories are located at the ground floor while the ready-to-wear and casual wear collections are located on the first and second floors.

Ascending to the third floor is a special floor dedicated evening dresses, luxurious furs and pelts accessories, plus richly embroidered garments complete with a 10sqm changing room equipped with bedazzling cream-colored leather-covered walls and up-to-date lighting system.

After spending your entire day lavishing in the universe of Just Cavalli, take a breather at Just Cavalli Cafe, located on the fourth floor. Here, you can either have a drink or maybe have a light lunch with your chic friends in Cavalli style.

This spring/summer, look out for Just Cavalli's Masai-inspired spring/summer 2008 collection that include motorcross jackets and pants, skintight micro mini dresses, maillots, and quilted silk jackets as the highlight of the season.
