Heatherette for MAC

There's something about Heatherette that made Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson ga ga about it.

First, it is far different from other conventional fashion brands and second, the designs are totally out of this world. Throw in American drag idol Amanda Lepore as muse and ad camp front liner, what you will get is a true fashion madness.

Founded by designers Richie Rich and Traver Rains, Heatherette is globally recognized for its savvy mix of pure fun and peppered with avant-garde approach.

Due to its immense popularity within both fashion and popular culture, backstage cosmetic giant M.A.C has roped in the brand for a special limited edition makeup collaboration, simply known as Heatherette for M.A.C.

Inspired by New York's legendary night club culture that's rich in undying vibe and plethora of vivacious colors, the collection features makeup essentials derived from M.A.C's traditional formula and packaged in limited edition hot pink packaging with holographic decal of Heatherette's logo, designed by American fashion wunderkinds Rains and Rich.

Accompanying the collection are six looks specially conceived by Heatherette that mirrors its fun and truly frivolous image - sultry Hollywood Nights, shocking Shock Hop, demure Bonus Beat, starry Flesh Pot that could probably be inspired by the hip 80's animated pop series Jem, cute and simple Lollipop Loving, and the classic Starlet Kiss look.

Makeups aside, the Heatherette boys and M.A.C team also threw in two fake eyelashes with quirky names - She's Good and She's Bad - to complement that dramatic New York 'go-go' disco look.

For a limited time only, look out for exclusive hues developed by M.A.C and Heatherette for the line - Hollywood Nights, Style Minx, 3D silver, Pink Pearl, Lola Devine, Smooth Harmony, $$$$$ Yes, and Nighthawk/Front Row just to name a few.

Heatherette for M.A.C. will be available at M.A.C stores all over United States and Canada on 27th March 2008. International launch for the collection will follow suit.
