Is Parkson Grand the new Neiman Marcus?

Looks like Parkson Grand has answered most Malaysian fashionistas prayers for a sophisticated shopping haven through its new facelift on KLCC outlet and more brands were added to its selection, hence could be our answer to Neiman Marcus, America's favourite, luxurious and sophisticated department store known to shoppers worldwide. Namesake brands like Vivienne Tam, Laundry by Shelli Segal, 7 For all Mankind and Longchamps were brought in to cater the demands of well-heeled and well-traveled Malaysians as well as foreign tourists who made Malaysia as their shopping home. Although its next-door rival, Japan-based Isetan has long garnered the title, Parkson is giving them a run over their money. If La Mer made Isetan as their home, Luxasia Malaysia, a subsidiary of fragrance and beauty products distributor Luxasia Pte. Ltd. opens its first Escential store here which carries renowned labels such as Korres, Creed, Penhaligon and exclusive perfumes from Van Cleef and Arpels.
In addition to the new facelift and brand, Parkson will be unveiling its largest flagship store in the country next year. Expect a much more sophisticated and luxurious ambience with just across the street from KL's swank shop Starhill Gallery.
