While D&G, Just Cavalli and Costume National have been previously brought in by Belle and Philosophy Men respectively, this is indeed the first attempt ever made by Malaysian fashion retailer to bring in the quirky, zany and infectious designs from the eccentric John Galliano himself through his own label, John Galliano. For Galliano, only the women's ready-to-wear collection are brought into the country while for the other three labels, fans can expect a full range of ready-to-wear and accessories for both men and women.
At Just Cavalli, put your attention to the details. Suede jacket with western-inspired embroidery works, ironed-out cherubic image print on the back of the jeans and belts are the details one should look on. For D&G, menswear for the Spring/Summer 2007 collection are inspired by the American Old Western days while John Galliano incorporates Japanese graphic elements into his latest offering with white and royal blue dominates the color palette.
Therefore, the need for daytrip to the Lion City just to get our hands on the latest D&G or Cavalli will probably unnecessary now with the opening of +IT. Again, a million of thank you to Dato' Farah Khan and Melium Group for their effort. Cheers!
