L.A.M.B debuts in Singapore

After receiving a tremendous response towards Harajuku Lovers, Gwen Stefani's second fashion, accessory and homeware line, Singapore's Queen's Couture is proud to satisfy Gwen and Asian fashion lovers by bringing in the main label, L.A.M.B.

L.A.M.B or Love Angel Music Baby is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Gwen Stefani after she decided to foray in fashion four years ago. L.A.M.B made its debut through a collaboration with American stylish nylon bag maker LeSportsac where Gwen designed three collection under L.A.M.B for LeSportsac.

Her debut Spring/Summer Collection was given a runway treat when she was invited to present her collection to the fashion press and bigwigs at New York Fashion Week. Supermodel Naomi Campbell was among the chosen ones who paraded her creations. Believe it or not, L.A.M.B was proved to be a hit among young and trendy sets of fashionistas and it was sold in independent boutiques and cult stores such as Collette in the fashion capital of France, Paris.

For Spring/Summer 2007, fans can expect something called "global-inspired prints" - a collection of prints inspired from the textiles of Guatemala, India and Japan. Ladylike dresses, frocks and sporty jackets sporting words Are You L.A.M.B Enough? on one side of the stripe to name a few are the key pieces for the new collection. Well, after her collaboration with LeSportsac ended, many would have thought that the much sought-after limited edition Gwen bags won't return for good.

The good news is, Gwen already released her own line of bags under the L.A.M.B brand. The bag line is a part of her accessory line which includes shoes as well. This season, Gwen is playing with the ladylike hues of blue and white, red, yellow and green ombre.

For shoes, expect the "Disco" types and L.A.M.B emblazoned boots, just as seen on her runway show last year. This coming Fall, Gwen is scheduled to launch her first fragrance for L.A.M.B and will be produced and marketed by Coty Fragrances. It is expected that the yet untitled fragrance will make its debut in Asia and South East Asia region by or before the first quarter of next year.

If you are a die-hard Gwen fan and want to get L.A.M.B-ed, then be sure to pace yourself to the Queen's Couture and experience the life of a Rich Girl. Na...Na...Na...!!!
