The Revival of Classic American Spirit

Anne Klein's, America's purveyor of women's classic sportswear is reviving the classic American spirit through it's latest Fall/Winter 2007-08 ready-to-wear collection.

The new collection was the first collection designed by its new head designer Isabel Toledo and unveiled to the press and selected public in New York at New York Fashion Week 2007 last week.

The key pieces for Anne Klein's Fall/Winter 2007-08 collection are tartan coat with matching plaid trousers, knitted frocks and coats, jumpers in neutral tones and a number of mix-and-match separates to name a few. For its color scheme, Isabel opts for a combination of metallic and neutral swatches from hot devil red to the sand to visualize the season.

While waiting for Fall season to make its appearance in stores, Anne Klein's Spring/Summer 2007 collection too is simply superb, chic and comfortable, suitable with our hot and humid climate. Key looks of the season includes pewter bubble sleeve trench, clipped jacquard silk skirt with foliage print, light grey button front dress, black knit short sleeve cardigan worn with black and white ribbon dot blouse, and black and white lion print halter top for daywear.

For evening, one can look stylish in its plethora of dresses. Choose from black scoop neck dress, ruched front dress, brown baby doll dress, to the black and white ribbon chevron dress. For accessories, wide and skinny belts in leather and canvas, and silver multi-chain necklaces to name a few, are the accessories to accompany Anne Klein's Spring/Summer 2007 collection.

For bags, the long-strap handbag is making a grand comeback at Anne Klein. Made from black leather, the bag has braided long strap, a flashback to the early 80's when such bag were hit among ladies.

The Anne Klein Spring/Summer 2007 Ready-to-Wear Collection is available at all Anne Klein stores around the region now and will be available in America and Europe by early Spring.
