Dance and Flow ... Senada Theory Spring/Summer 2008

Like a dancer dancing gracefully under the beautiful blossoms of spring, with whispering winds and chirping of birds as the music to her ears dressed in a magnificent dress that flows freely and waves as the wind blows is the best way to describe Senada Theory's spring/summer 2008 ready-to-wear collection.

Classic is the theme and at Senada Theory, the concept of "sense and vintage" is adapted into the Thai born-and-bred brand and its marvelous collection to reveal free-flowing ideas, and letting you to indulge in all
sorts of creative ideas without having to stick to just one style.

Inspired by the classic era of the 1950's when Christian Dior's New Look ruled the runway and charmed by the joyous spring ambiance, the two influences, plus a dazzling palette of sweet pastel colors inspired by a South Pacific resort (think lotus pink, dark chocolate, etc.) has resulted a collection of streamlined and graceful silhouetted apparels by Senada Theory that makes you feel as if you are dancing the classical waltz dance when you put them all on.

Blouses are beautifully decorated with hand-smocking and pleat details creating a corset-like fit, while skirts are crafted in crisp fabrics such as cotton silk and crepe de chine with different proportions, sharp shapes, and beautifully flows and buoys around the wearer's legs.

Puffed sleeves, colorful satin ribbon detailing, and quilt details on collars adorned its majestic tops and dresses with a little trace of volumes apparently appears in strapless pleated gown with knee-length balloon hem and ribbon-sash detail at the waist ( a totally fashionable reminder to Sarah Jessica Parker's sense of style), and multi-tiered ruffled dress.

Candy-hued scheme aside, vintage flower and geometric prints also reined within the collection. Expect tapestry-like prints on its array of skirts and dresses. There's even a bit of Chanel influence in the collection, which is the pearl-lined hem on one of the dresses.

As a way to remind the public and her fans on the danger of global warming that is about to take place, she even incorporated unique prints adapted from photographs of ancient fossils and stone mountain landscapes into the spring/summer collection.

For accessories, wide-brimmed hats in straw or transparent, open-toed high heels, and lace-up booties with lace detailing are the must-have accessories by Senada for the season.

Senada Theory spring/summer 2008 collection is available now at Senada Theory flagship store in Bangkok and selected retailers around the world.
