Osman Yousefzada for MNG ... spring/summer 2008

Would you believe it if I say that you can buy a high-end label apparel at less than RM300.00?

Absurd? Yes, it may sound absurd but thanks to Spanish high-street label Mango, high-end is now accessible to everyone!

Following to the enormous reception from its previous fashion collaborations with designers Zuhair Murad, Jovovich-Hawk, plus the ongoing partnership with Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica, Mango or MNG in Malaysia is proud to introduce its latest partnership with young and emerging British fashion designer Osman Yousefzada, under its renowned Limited Edition collection for spring/summer 2008.

A Cambridge graduate and former city banker, Osman went to St. Martins Central to pursue his passion in fashion design and was shot to fame after presenting his debut collection, called 'Imperial', where according to reports, media began comparing him to fashion legend Hubert de Givenchy.

Making his resume much more impressive is when high-end retailer Selfridge's placed twice reorders with the talented designer after his baby doll show dresses that were put on display at Selfridge's' infamous display window were instantly snapped by shoppers.

The tremendous response on his collection also drew a long waiting list among London fashion lovers. Moreover, Osman even got his outstanding works featured on the hallowed pages of US VOGUE, a great achievement for any newcomer in the industry like him.

This season, Osman is giving the chance to you who could not afford to blow your bank on his simple but voluminous dress with architectural feel that bears a RM 7000.00 plus price tag by partnering with Spain's revered womenswear retailer MNG. For a limited time only, Osman has created six dresses, applying his design
trademark for a fraction of the actual Selfridge's price.

The dresses feature a touch of volume and layered underneath with blue crinoline, flared at the back, and wide hemming in gold plus a gladiator golden collar.

Inspirations were drew from tribal influences - Masai, ancient Greece (hence the upward flare on the back of the dress), India, as well as his Afghan origins.

All dresses are swathed in solid and sexy hue of black with cobalt blue and gold detailing to accentuate both color and beauty.

Apart from MNG stores worldwide, the Limited Edition line will be sold at Selfridge's for a limited period starting 11th of March while MNG clients around the world will have to wait till next week, on the 17th of March to get your hands on this ultra-chic contemporary collection.
