Think of the time when us teenagers would spend most of our time obsessing on ‘Fame’ dance moves and colourful costumes, Cyndi Lauper’s catchy boy-meets-girl anthems and never forget, Madonna’s inventive approach on fashion (like recycled silk stockings as headbands, anyone).

Speaking of shoulder pads and thrilling colour palette, I wonder, could the new electronica goddess Lady Gaga be the new muse of Marc? Well, it’s just a wild guess anyway after comparing Jacobs’ new look with Lady Gaga’s salacious style taste. What’s more, the hot pink hooded coat with strong-looking padded shoulders strengthens my thought. But whatever it is, if the pieces bear his name, there’s no doubt they’ll sell like hot cakes.
