Milla Loves MNG

For decades, Spain has been widely known as one of the most prominent trendy clothing producers after US and London. One of it is the inevitable Mango. Known for its feminine and appealing clothes and accessories at lesser price, the brand has gained cult status among young and urban female fashionistas that wanted to dress stylishly without breaking their bank. The label is also known for its celebrity models endorsement on its ad campaigns, starting with Claudia Schiffer to Naomi Campbell, and from Rolling Stone's Mick Jagger daughter Liz to Bianca Baiti.

Mango or MNG had recently appointed midel/actress Milla Jovovich as the new spokeperson of the label. The American-Ukranian model was chosen to represent Mango's brand image for the Fall/Winter 2006 collection based on her beauty, fun, sensuality and sophistication.

She also exudes the confidence that she gained in her youth that filled with experience. To celebrate the appointment of Milla as the new spokeperson for the Fall/Winter campaign, she was flown in from the US by Mango to Madrid for the publicity event as well as to introduce her to the press from all over the world.

Milla started her professional modelling career at the age of 11 years old. At such a young age, she was chosen by Richard Avedon as one of Revlon's "Most Unforgettable Women in the World". Her first appearance as a magazine cover girl was in October 1987 for the Italian magazine Lei. Since then, her popularity as model soared and have graced countless magazine covers, and fashion show catwalks. Her modelling portfolio to date includes a stint with advertsing campaigns for Dior Poison, Versace, L'Oreal Paris, and the more recently Etro and appeared in movies such as The Fifth Element, The Messenger- The Story of Joan of Arc, Resident Evil 1 and 2, and the most recent, Ultravoilet.
