A Geek Revenge ...

For a long time, I always thought that life as a geek is always a drag and hate it. Ugly style, big spectacles with thick glasses, and heavily-gelled hair that won't moved even though the cyclone passes by.

Though I never be one back in school days but oh, I just can't stand them but not until fashion duo Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana of D&G Dolce & Gabbana gave them a new hope in restyling them.

I am talking about the recent Fall/Winter 2007/08 menswear runway show that held recently in where else if not the Italian fashion capital of Milan. Body-licious male models all dressed up in D&G's fall/winter pieces with spectacles and geek hairdos.

Biker jackets in metallic gold and dark green, swimwear, black suits, velvety tuxedos and metallic sneakers are the offering for the next coming fall and winter season. At the end of the show, the boys played Secret Agents by donning body-fitting tees with the word "D&G F/W 07" emblazoned across their sexy chest.

By the way, do not forget to check out the latest Spring/Summer 2007 collection which features tight body fitting tees with cheeky statements printed on, denim pants with western details and stripe t-shirt with plaid details. For women, mini dresses in zebra prints, golden tunic worn with purple panties and loud Technicolor leggings are some of D&G's offering for its female clients this season.

D&G ad campaigns are something that fashion fans are waiting for every season. In certain countries, many of the D&G ads never made their way to the local publications due to its overtness. Sexuality has always been the subject of the brand's ad campaign and this season, it blends perfectly with the futuristic elements. Half-naked Adonises in skimpy swimwear while the female models in printed dresses are what in stores for fans of D&G ad campaigns.

While there is still no news on the opening of +IT, a multi-brand store that stocks complete D&G ready-to-wear line for both men and women, I hope that the Fall/Winter 2007/08 will be able to make it at the new store within this year. At the meantime, fashion lovers can get their latest Spring/Summer 2007 pieces at D&G stores and multi-brand stores worldwide.
