Lindsay Lohan for Miu Miu S/S07 Ad Campaign

Prada sister brand, Miu Miu has recently appointed Hollywood actress/singer Lindsay Lohan as the face of their Spring/Summer 2007 ad campaign. The ads, featuring Lohan in a redhead hair cropped shoulder length posing in Miu Miu's Spring pieces have been making its way to magazines around the world.

Before Lindsay Lohan, other Hollywood actresses who have graced Miu Miu ad campaigns were Selma Blair and Maggie Gylenhaal. The ad campaign were shot in London by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Though reasons why Lohan was chosen as the new face of Miu Miu are unknown, it is ubiquitous for us to see that Lohan what a Miu Miu woman possesses - quirky, vivacious, chic and stylish. Add her It girl status to the resume, Lindsay Lohan definitely fits the Miu Miu girl qualities.

For Spring/Summer 2007 collection, Miuccia Prada and her creation team uses a mixture of somber and bold colors to liven up the season. Clean lines, uncomplicated cuts and simple shapes that has no drama effects like what Miu Miu used to do are what Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2007 collection is all about.

Interestingly, most of the pieces created by Prada uses Peter Pan collars, which makes it look quirky and feminine. Overlayering still exists for Miu Miu when a model parades tunic worn over shirts and over another layer of shirts. Something that you should watch out from Prada this season is the African prints that could caught anyone's interest.

Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2007 Ready-to-Wear collection is available at all Miu Miu stores and multi-brand stores and department stores that carries Miu Miu label.
