Stella McCartney for LeSportsac

British fashion designer and daughter to Sir Paul McCartney of former British pop band The Beatles, Stella McCartney will be partnering with American iconic bag maker LeSportsac for a a one-off limited edition series of lifestyle collection for travel bags, luggages and accessories. The partnership was announced on Monday, 29th January 2007 in London. The collection will be the first for Stella McCartney and will be launched on Spring 2008.

The collections will incorporate innovative elements of design and will focus on travel accessories with an emphasis on baby. Ideal for the modern woman that does not want to sacrifice style and luxury for function, the collections will be lightweight and multi-purposeful. The Stella McCartney for LeSportsac collection will embody the same ethics as the designer's current luxury non-leather accessories collection that was launched in Fall 2006.
