Vintage Holiday Inn Tees, Anyone?

When was the last time you stayed at a Holiday Inn hotel? Me, it was 10 years ago, during our trip to Penang and Kedah. I wonder if the Penang hotel still exists but to me, the service was superb and not to mention the suites (yes, we stayed in two separate suites - one for the men and the other for women) are roomy and spacious with a large bathtub enough to fit three person at a time.

Well, those days were gone but now you can keep the memory of your stay at the iconic hotel with its new offering - a vintage shirt. Collaborating with clothing manufacturer Junk Food Clothing, the Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, one of the world's most recognized brand is proud to announce its fashion foray with the introduction of Holiday Inn Vintage Tees collection.

Created to attract the attention of the younger crowd, much of the designs incorporated and inspired by the hotel's catchy slogans, the iconic sign and the company tagline "Your Host from Coast to Coast". The shirts too will be adorned with hotel lingos such as "Do Not Disturb" and "Sleep with the Best".

"Holiday Inn is one of few brands with a legacy that evokes such a strong connections with consumers," said Mark Snyder, senior vice president, Brand Management, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resort.

"The vintage tees are a way for us to take our current guests down 'memory lane,' while introducing the brand to the younger generations in a fun and engaging way. The T-shirts pay tribute to our brand's rich heritage, but with a wink and a smile that shows we are continuing to evolve for today's travelers."

According to Natalie Groff, CEO of Junk Food Clothing, the T-shirts have been long seen as the source of comfort, relaxation and self-expression among consumers from one generation to another.

"Even more so, vintage T-shirts instill a sense of personal style and customization. From images of rock bands and corporate logos, vintage tees represent a unique generational response to nostalgic brands that continue to be relevant," she adds.

The Holiday Inn Vintage Tees series are available now at stores such as the celebrity-infested Kitson, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Macy's Northwest and other fine boutiques across the United States. For international vintage tee collector who wants to relive their Holiday Inn experience, you can purchase it online at Junk Food Clothing's official site.

Expect this cool vintage tee on any Hollywood royalty on any given day and swarm of fans would be hording the above said stores to secure one for themselves!
