The Divine Lights of Osel

Women and jewels are always inseparable. Be it diamonds or rubies, emeralds and topaz, a woman's fascination over the bling things had never ceased. Either the stones are set in a classical and lavish ways or just a simple yet contemporary style, the jewels have never failed to dazzle the feminine lot.

If you are looking for a minimal uber-chic and truly stylish
without having to end up bedecked like age old grandmas or aunts, then Osel is the answer. Manufactured by Singapore-based jeweler Jacob and Cody, Osel, which means clear light in Tibetan is a new artistic jewelery line designed by former MTV VJ and model Nadya Hutagalung.

Being a model who involved much with the fashion world has developed a keen eye in creating something that is impeccable and stylish.
Added with her strong interest in paintings and fine arts, a result of encouragement by her artist mother, Nadya managed to create a line of jewelry that's timeless and unique.

All set in yellow gold with multicolored stones of aquamarine, lemon quartz, diamonds and tourmaline just to name a few, the Osel collection can be defined as boldness and simplicity meets timelessness and traditional.

Out of the 15-pieces collection, I personally pick two of my favorites that I think worth buying and could be turn into an heirloom so you could hand it down to your daughter and so on. They are the aquamarine tear drop ring and the aquamarine and tourmaline tear drops earrings.

The ring caught my atention because of its beautiful Asian-influenced filigree detailing around the ring that reflects Nadya's part-Indonesian heritage while the drop earrings looks much like a branch of candies that hangs on the wearer's ears.

Osel by Nadya Hutagalung jewelry collection is available exclusively at Puce boutique or you can also buy the collection online at L'Artichaut.com.
