Kate Moss dazzles at Topshop

In the next few hours to daylight, I am sure that many Topshop fans in the UK are eager to wait for the Topshop doors to open. The occasion? It's the launch of supermodel Kate Moss's capsule collection for the high street style arbiter that will take place tomorrow.

Although the line would only be available tomorrow, the heat has already begun in the evening, where the flagship Topshop store at the Oxford Street was closed at 5.30p.m. today (30th April) for a two-and-a-half hours of preparation to unveil the new window for Kate's most anticipated collection at 8.00 p.m., and at the same time, open its doors to the eager customers.

Shoppers will be issued with different colored wristbands that entitle them to shop within the Kate Moss section for 20 minutes and each shopper are only allowed to buy up to five pieces only. Even so, as a bonus, a goody bag and a shopping guide a.k.a. survival guide on how to survive the Kate Moss pandemonium are given to every customer. The Oxford Street store will open till midnight and opens again as early as 7 a.m. to unleash the madness.

Inspired by her own wardrobe, old photographs, drawings and sketches, the line combines new and fresh shapes and textures with vintage feel that represents her edgy and playful attitude.

"I have always been a huge fan of Topshop," says Kate. "I chose to work with them because they would be able to interpret my ideas and designs in the right way."

With her experience and involvement in fashion world for almost two decades, she tried and tested every piece of garment before proceeding for production, a sort of progression for her to model the collection in the campaign shoot.

She even piece together the looks to be shot in the campaign, combining the rock and roll chic with bohemian charm, thus explaining her reason for choosing her friend model Irina Lazareanu to model beside her as the face of the collection.

From floral print tea dresses to vintage inspired tees with lean rock silhouettes, cropped pants, vests, halter neck dresses and Kate Moss emblem-adorned tees, the line is expected to cause a big commotion among fashion fans and of course, you may expect some catfights over a pair of skinny pants! But don't worry, the collection will be updated every week so there'll be so many new things that you could have your hands on.

The collection will be available at all Topshop stores in UK and Ireland, Como Corso in Milan, Barneys in the US and not to forget Collette, Paris. The collection too will be available at Topshop Asian outlets as well.
