At the age of 21, singer/songwriter Lily Allen not only has a strong passion in music by creating her own brand of sounds but she is a budding fashion icon with her eponymous ready-to-wear line called Lily Loves, exclusively for British fashion retailer New Look.Lily's music and fashion sense is much inspired by the music that she listened when she grew up. She left school at 15 and started to loom her creativity out by writing songs.
December last year, she was signed to Parlophone, a UK record company and got her debut album released with three singles making their way to the charts, namely Alfie, Littlest Things and Smile.
Inspired by her "ballgown and trainers" look, the Lily Loves line will comprise of summer dresses. It won't be the typical pretty flowers-adorned dress but expect lots of breezy patterns and lots of happy colors in the new collection that is scheduled to launch in the next two weeks.
"What's the point of putting on clothes that don't turn heads, right?" she questioned. Indeed, you don't have to be a size zero to fit in her clothes as Lily appreciates curves, lots of it. Since Lily likes to accessorized, the Lily Loves collection is designed to be accessorized.
Cool graphics on satin in loose fitting shapes and graffiti-embroidered sundress are just the hints for fans who are anxious to wait.
The Lily Loves New Look Collection will be in stores later this May and to Lily Allen fans in South East Asia and the Far East, if you are interested to dress in Lily Allen's clothes and accessories, the nearest New Looks stores are in Kuwait City and Dubai.
