Feel the Fafiness with Fafi for LeSportsac Artist Edition

While most of us have been eagerly waiting for Stella McCartney for LeSportsac collection that will only be in stores next year, the nylon bag maker recently signed renowned French artist Fafi for its Spring's Artist Edition collection.

Earlier, LeSportsac has collaborated with the O.C., singer/songwriter/fashion designer Gwen Stefani, John Adler, Tokidoki and fashion legend Diane Von Furstenberg for its previous Artist Edition collection.

Fafi, the newest contributor to LeSportsac Artist Edition, a limited edition line of LeSportsac merchandise will work together with LeSportsac to create an original print that will be based on a whimsical story that she created, which is about a girl who was looking for the magic in her life and discovered the tree that blooms LeSportsac bags.

Combining the colorful comic book illustrations with the hip utility of LeSportsac resulting a unique line that will be a big hit among LeSportsac collectors.

Though Fafi is quite unknown on this side of the world, her cartoon-esque illustrations of women and girls received a huge cult following among hipster girls around the world.

The Parisian began her career as a graffiti artist before expanding her trade into designing clothes, accessories, jewelry and more, all embodying her craft. Her big break in fashion came after she sold her illustrations to the uber-chic Collette in Paris.

The Fafi for LeSportsac Artist Edition, along with LeSportsac Spring 2007 lineup is available at all LeSportsac stores and select multi-brand stores that carries LeSportsac brand.
