After a victorious debut in Hong Kong, UK's prominent high end retailer Harvey Nichols are planning to charm the hearts of well-heeled residents of Jakarta with the opening of its first South East Asian store in the capital of Indonesia.

The Harvey Nichols Jakarta will be operated by Indonesian retail group PT. Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP) through an exclusive license agreement signed by both companies. The acquisition of Harvey Nichols license marks another milestone in MAP business portfolio, which at the moment includes international brands such Massimo Dutti, Topshop, Zara, and Calvin Klein jeans and Sogo department stores to name a few.

The Jakarta store will feature 10 000 square meters of retail space that spans four storeys and it will include Harvey Nichols' signature Foodmarket concept and fine dining restaurants. It also will house exclusive brands in fashion, beauty, fragrance, and home that the retailer is fondly known for.
