The Veronicas ... From Sisters in Rock to Sisters in Style

Looks like the celebrity clothing hype did not only swept North America and Europe only but it also took Down Under by storm.

Australian celebs and rock starlets The Veronicas are adopting the move, following fellow pop star Kylie Minogue who earlier had forayed in the lingerie designing business as well as her signature fragrance that have generated real big bucks for the artiste.

The collection is known as The
Veronicas, named after the band itself and is the fruit of collaboration between the duo - sisters Lisa and Jess and Australia's biggest retailer Target Australia. According to the girls, the line is 'a bit punk rock princess, mixed with rock 'n roll' and incorporates all of their favorite fashion and trends.

Before the entire line landed in stores come 25th August, earlier the sisters gave their fans a preview to what The Veronicas style is all about during the red carpet event at the recent Australian chapter of MTV Music Awards.

"We're so excited about The Veronicas range for Target, " says Lisa, one-half of the group. "It's been so much fun being involved in the whole process, and will be a huge buzz to see our very own designs in Target stores in August."

"It's amazing to think that we've been given this incredible opportunity," says Jess. "The range is exactly what we'd go out and buy ourselves. We love Target, they rock!"

The group was founded in 2005 and found their success in the international music scene with four top 10 singles - 4Ever, Everything I'm Not, When It All Falls Apart, and Revolution - all taken from their four-times platinum-certified debut album, "The Secret Life of The Veronicas". Last year, the duo also garnered three MTV Awards and an ARIA Award for Best Pop Album of the Year.

For fans who live outside Australia and thinks The Veronicas are doing the same marketing effort as Kate Moss or her Topshop collection to sell their collection to top-notch retailers outside Down Under, keep on dreaming because the line is exclusive to Target Australia stores only and if you fancy to get your hands on them, book your plane tickets now and join the party!

The Veronicas line, available in sizing range of 7-16 will be officially launched on 25th August at all Target Australia chain while the exclusive Free Fusion line will be available only in selected stores.
