Stardust from Jimmy Choo

Fantasy epic has been a staple in Hollywood movie industry. From the infamous Lord of the Rings trilogy to the overrated Harry Porter, the world seems to be so in love with the genre.

Come November, Malaysian fans of the genre will be thrilled to know that the much anticipated movie adaptation of Neil Gaiman's best selling novel Stardust will be screened in local cinemas.

Starring Claire Danes, Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeifer and Robert de Niro, the movie was directed by Matthew Vaughn and tells the story of a young man's quest to find a fallen star with hope to win the heart of the woman he desires.

As usual, celebrating the release of the movie, shoemaker to the stars Jimmy Choo has teamed up with the fairytale movie to bring you the must have limited edition Stardust shoe.

With only 200 pairs available globally, the shoe design takes its inspiration from a pendant worn by Shining Star, a fallen star transformed into a beautiful woman and played by actress Claire Danes.

Sporting a 100mm Basquiat heel and Frida peep-toe, the silver satin shoe is decorated with clear, colored Swarovski crystal set on golden chain on its vamp, which resembles the infamous pendant worn by Danes in the movie.

The Stardust is already available in Jimmy Choo stores all over the US since August and will be available to the rest of the world, including Malaysia by the end of October.
