Brazil's temple of luxury and style Daslu played host to UK's celebrated model/actress/entrepreneur Liz Hurley a.k.a. Mrs. Arun Nayar last November.The occasion? It's the Brazilian launch of her beachwear line, the Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection. Launched in the UK about a year ago, the beachwear collection was designed by Hurley herself and have received a tremendous response from her fans and fashionistas in the United Kingdom.
The line was brought to Brazil early this year and is exclusively available to Daslu in Sao Paulo. Joining Miss Hurley's entourage to the official Brazilian launch of her brand were renowned shoe designer Patrick Cox, Vanity Fair's fashion editor Michael Roberts and renowned fashion director Hamish Bowles from VOGUE UK. The event was hosted by Daslu's owner herself Miss Eliana Tranchessi and attended by Brazilian socialites and Daslu's avid customers.
Earlier, Hurley arrived with Robert Forrest all the way from London to Sao Paulo with her Louis Vuitton luggage and dressed in a animal print top with plunging v-neck and white slim trousers. Later, she changed into a sheer Raj chiffon tunic with beaded collar and cuffs paired with same slim white trousers.Guests were then treated to a plethora of one-pieces, bikinis, plus ready-to-wear pieces infested in sexy and wild leopard prints, designed and inspired by Hurley herself. Hot on the list are Candace one-piece swimwear with front cutout in cheetah print, sheer blue kaftan with starfish prints, and Tamara dress in sheer Cheetah prints.
