An Anggun Evening

Last April, Swiss renowned watchmaker and jeweller Audemars Piguet played host to a grand gala dinner. The dinner was organized in conjunction to celebrate the concept of Oval Time, which was presented at the annual 2006 International Fine Watchmaking Exhibition (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie - SIHH). Guests comprising of friends, ambassadors and customers alike were gathered to celebrate the intimate evening. Present were Jasmine Audemars, President of the Board of Directors, and Georges-Henri Meylan, Managing Director of Manufacture Audemars Piguet.

Celebrities spotted at the event also includes Hungarian artist Ferenc Cako who caught the imagination and attention of the guests with his stunning sand animation presentation on the poetic look of time passage, Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh whose acting credits includes being the first Asian Bond girl ever in Tomorrow Never Dies and the subliminal Mameha, a head geisha and mentor to a young Geisha Sayuri (played by Zhang Zhiyi) in the Memoirs of Geisha.

Paris-based singer Anggun, one of the Audemars Piguet's ambassador graced the stage that evening with her powerful rendition of Neige au Sahara, her eponymous single that has put her on the French pop map in 1997. Sharing the stage with her is Australian songstress Tina Arena.
