LV's Soiree Magique

Around the world, there's only one store-opening party that everyone wants to be and it's Louis Vuitton Store Opening party. After months of renovation and relocation, the new store is finally open to all. Designed by Louis Vuitton's very own architecture team, the new store features a storefront that faces the street of Bintang Walk pedestrian area with 600sqft of flloor space which according to Kathy Lam of Louis Vuitton Malaysia, is a tribute to Louis Vuitton's Malaysian customers.

The store was launched by Malaysia's pop princess, Datin Siti Nurhaliza, YTL chief Tan Sri (Dr) Francis Yeoh, president of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific Francois Delage and Louis Vuitton Malaysia's Kathy Lam.

"In Kuala Lumpur, 80% of Louis Vuitton's customers are local, not tourists," she revealed. "We owe it to the customers for their support in these 21 years. We owe it to them to have this beautiful store for them," Lam added.

With 6000 sqft. retail space set in a three-level split platform, the store is definitely a haven made for luxe lovers and luxing yourself in it means that you even might get the privilege of shopping at the comfort of Very Important Client (VIC) Room. What's special about it that it even includes a kitchenette and a washroom, two features that are not available in other LV stores around the world. The storefront features the iconic monogram motifs backlit by soft LED panels and covered with super clear glass, set on a limestone base and upper stainless steel frame.

To commemorate the launch, 15 Malaysian kite charms were made for this event and all were fully booked. The party was then followed by a showcase by the singer herself and later guests partied till the wee hours of the morning.
