Zara Heads to Beijing

Spanish retailer Zara expanded into the China market with the opening of the first Zara store in the country's capital.

With a total retail floorspace of 1500sqft. spread over two floors, the store has direct access with an impressive facade.

The ground floor is dedicated to womenswear while the second is dedicated for menswear and kids. To date, the Beijing store is the first Zara store to incorporate new image and layout designed and conceived by the company's architectural team, based in Spain.

Previously, Zara opened two stores in Shanghai, the financial capital of the nation. One is at the Nanjing West Road while the other at Times Square. Up to date, there are 59 Zara stores within the Asia-Pacific area including Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia.

So, if you are holidaying or working in Beijing now, do take some time off and browse for the new collection at Zara today.
