In 1990, the company appointed designer Susanne Kölbli as the company's Creative Director. It was only at the end of 1990's, Thomas Sabo decided to set up its own retail outlets to market its goods and today, Thomas Sabo sterling silver jewelries and charms are available at exclusive retail stores, shop-in-shops and sales agencies in 13 countries throughout the world.

In Malaysia, Thomas Sabo is available at three stores-in-stores at Isetan Lot 10 and KLCC, as well as a freestanding store at the Bangsar Village 2.
