You Got To Have This ... Damascus Belt Bag by Aigner

Season after season, we are bountifully served with an assortment of bags.

Either in buttery soft leather or exotic crocodile skin, in other words, beautiful handbags never fail to entice us.

This season, German fashion and leather goods purveyor Aigner is paying homage to the historical Syrian city of Damascus with its latest offering from the spring/summer 2008 accessories collection, the Damascus belt bags.

Belt Bag? What is that?
An innovative creation by the Aigner designing team, the belt bag is a sort of basket bag braided from narrow iconic Aigner belts with replaceable cloth bags inside. You can easily switch the inlay to match your style.

How many types of bags are there?
There are three cloth bags available for you to choose from - either one made from light canvas for the casual look, the legendary Aigner monogrammed jacquard for a classic touch, or maybe the one in printed silk foulard that looks totally luxurious.

Do I get all three of them at the same time?
Err, sorry to say this - NO! But you can always purchase the cloth bags separately at all Aigner stores throughout the world.

Besides toting it to work or shopping, what else I can do with this bag?
Use it as a holiday bag. Wisely take two or three cloth bags with you and change it according to your need. While cruising on the high seas, switch from the silk foulard bag to a more contemporary light canvas or the jacquard one. Then, when night falls, replace the inlay with the silk one for an exquisite evening bag. Simple as that!

How much will it cost?
At the moment, we have no idea how much it costs but you can always inquire the nearest Aigner store for price.

Where can I get one?
At all Aigner stores all over the world as well as the soon-to-be-opened two-storey Aigner flagship store at Pavilion KL, Jalan Bukit Bintang starting Spring/Summer 2008.
