Attrape-Moi... trapped in the luxe of Chaumet

France's celebrated Haute Joailier Chaumet introduces its new collection called Attrape-Moi. Loosely translated as Trap Me or Catch Me, the new collection is the new reinterpretation of idea of nature, and a mixture of poetry and humor. Two symbolic insects that has been widely used since the age of Napoleon reign, bees and spiders are given a breathe of new life through their reinventions.

In a chiseled ring, its eight articulated legs in various shades of pink and blue sapphires seem to quiver. At the center, an amethyst and a sapphire from Sri Lanka irresistibly draw the eye. Playful bee charms set with cognac diamonds and baby spiders in blue and pink sapphires adorn the ears, a web pendant and openwork medallion necklaces.Long sautoirs of diamond beads punctuated here and there with pink and white freshwater pearls from the South Seas.

A unique piece in the collection, almost two thousand seven hundred diamonds set in openwork medallions - in a rose cut or diamond beads strung on gold wire - weave a necklace of spidery lace totaling more than one-hundred and fifty carats Attrape-moi si tu m'aimes ... Catch me if you love me. More pieces will be added to the new collection till the end of 2006. Attrape-Moi Si Tu M'aimes Collection is sold exclusively at Chaumet Boutiques worldwide.
